Bought for use with a second hand Denon AVR1612 receiver which came without the calibrated mic required for configuring the surround sound system. This mic is a direct replacement for the original Denon one and worked a treat. Plugged it in, followed the auto setup configuration wizard and 15 mins later had a fully configured sound system tailored to my rooms acoustics. Great value considering this was brand new but often sells for considerably more in the second hand marketplace.
